Or Normandie, If you are here in France. Either way, a quaint, seaside village liberated by the Americans and the British in 1944, and yet the sentiment remains. There are signs and monuments throughout this town, which is so touching to see as a visiting American. There is also a German bunker high up on a hill and overlooking the sea. It reminded me of the very ones we saw in Norway. How different the world would be today if things had turned out differently 😳. During our introduction, all shared a common desire…to see America (our United States) return to what it once was. And to honor ‘the greatest generation’. Their service, their sacrifice and their determination to keep America ‘one nation under God, indivisible’. This includes everyone who served on the home front as well How grateful we are…🙏💕🙏
