Bittersweet

It is a bittersweet feeling that fills me as I prepare to leave home yet again. The ‘pretty’ which surrounds me this time of year is much more intense when I know I won’t be seeing it for some time. An early morning walk took me out to the barn to unload the last of the trailer of hay I loaded just two days before. My muscles were quick to remind me it is too soon, but I’ve run out of time. It is time to head to Africa. πŸ’•

And once again, Mount Rainier is clearly visible as we fly into Seattle! I lived in Everett for six, long weeks, and I never once saw Rainier πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. One of the reasons I moved to Montana.

And now…the plane that will take me to the Middle East. Qatar first, and then into Entebbe.

I was able to get some preliminary work done during the wait in SEATAC 😊

Soon I will settle in for the fifteen hour flight to Qatar. I am excited to serve in Uganda!
