New and Old

Toronto reminds me a lot of Chicago, IL, with beautiful old, historic buildings sprinkled among the newer high rise buildings.  All beautiful in their own way!

Loved the reflection on this building!

And some simply pretty things…

Another wonderful day! But more on that tomorrow…my bed calls! The walk-in cooler is especially chilly tonight! πŸ˜‚ On a positive note, we decided to rent an AirBnb close to the airport, as Kelly has an 11:00 am flight, and we are uncertain as to the traffic from Oakville to Toronto on a Tuesday morning. ( We are about45 minutes from the city.) But the best part of that news…tonight is OUR LAST NIGHT in the ICE BOX!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€·‍♀️πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

On that note, I’d like to add that I believe there is fraudulent activity in Ontario, much like in MN and CA, etc.  The person living above us in the AirBnb is Middle Eastern (an immigrant). The houses in the neighborhood are roughly $2.0 - $2.5 million (we googled it), and in their driveway is a BMW, a Porsche, and a Lexus. Every night. AND! The representation of the accommodation is mis-represented. Doesn’t look at all much like the pictures. I will try to send accurate photos to AirBnb, but it’s discouraging to think this is a possibility. Ontario needs a Nick Shirley!
