A highly organized and functional way to move a LOT of peopleππ. Checking into the France side of customs (the two passport control booths are mere feet apart), I was greeted by the man behind the counter.
‘Bonjour,’ he said.
‘Bonjour!’ I replied. ‘Comment allez vous?’
A smile, then a laugh. Then a ‘you speak Francais well! Does your husband know Paris is the city of love?’
’Perhaps, but more importantly he knows it is the city of VIN (wine)!’ππππ
Another laught, a wink and a wave and we are on our way after this brief but fun welcome into France on the English side of the channelπ€.
Good-bye Great Britain …
Hello France!
