Acuity

Now that I am down to my final eight days in Montrose, I am seeing things with a higher acuity…perhaps trying to imprint them permanently in my memory…the mountains appear more beautiful today, as if that were possible, the sky a brighter blue, the air warm and scented with last year’s mulched corn stalks. It is a clean scent, and one that will forever take me back in my memory to Montrose. I know all should have been covered by snow long before now, so I will pray for an abundance of snow for the Western Slope…after I leave!😂 So far, all looks clear weather-wise for my journey home.

Glamping
