Yes, the kiddos really swim here! 58 degrees outside, cloudy/drizzly much of the day, and the water is beyond chilly! Alaska tough, they keep telling me. 😂😂😂 I am believing it!

After a lovely dinner Diana and I collected a new volunteer from San Antonio, Texas, and went on a walk about. The sky cleared and the sun shone brighter than I’ve seen since my arrival five days past. Truly a beautiful thing to see. With the clouds out of the way for a time, the mountain tops were visible…so breathtaking! I am loving Alaska and its rugged, yet peaceful and serene beauty. 💕
