The Trail

Had to cut that last post short as it was too long πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. This was a section of our trail up to Inspiration Point…

It was heavily wooded and awfully quiet. It was the first time I was concerned with coming across a black bear. As Diana drove away, I was wishing I had grabbed the bear spray off the front seat. Instead, I made sure to continue speaking to Erika, who meandered along behind me.

A map Erika had picked up at some point😊. But it shows Inspiration Point.

I thought this resembled a volcanoπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚!

There is just so much beauty concentrated in a small area here, it is hard to take it all in. It has been a peaceful, enjoyable, and memorable adventure to be sure! Tomorrow we’ll go to church, and then Diana will return me to Anchorage. I’ll fly back to Montana early Monday morning.πŸ’•

​As I wandered about Henry’s Beach this morning, I came across several pairs of random shoes just strewn about.  I couldn’t help but wonder ...
