Okay. Now that I’ve seen it seven days in a row, I can address it ππ. When the folks ride their ATV’s and/or dirt bikes around here, NO ONE sits. They stand. On the foot pedals. On rocky, rutted, gravel roads. And not One. Single. Helmet. Risky to be sure. And they go FAST! Very fast. π¬π¬π¬
On a happier note, Diana and I had a lovely drive back to Anchorage, and then stopped to enjoy halibut fish and chips at Humpy’s, a place Ty spoke of so often. And understandably so! I’d say it was the best halibut and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Afterwards, we walked around downtown Anchorage to an ice cream shop. Also delectable! A peaceful and relaxing end to an amazing week!

I am now checked into the ‘Blue Room’, a single bedroom in a house with one other guest who hasn’t arrived yet. It was much less costly, as the average price of a hotel in Anchorage started around $300! I’ve got my Uber scheduled for the morning to get me to the airport by 6 am. It will be good to get home.π
