Time and time again I am reminded while on these FDR trips, just how blessed and fortunate we are to live in the United States. The lack of basic infrastructure is so evident here…on sidewalks, the roads, stairways, and more. Traffic is insane, with no specific rules, yet a police and military presence is everywhere I look. BUT! Surprisingly, most motorcyclists wear helmets here!ππ

Today was a free day, which is unusual, but only because there was a conference going on at the church hosting our first clinic site. That means an extra early day tomorrow, but today was fun.π We picked up snacks and treats to pass out to the littles who visit the clinic, as well as a few last minute items we needed. While there at the store, we just happened to catch a glimpse of the vice president of Uganda, a woman, shopping. By the time I saw her though, she was strolling out the door, closely followed by about six, beefy guys in navy suits and a soldier in full army fatiguesππ. Would have been a ‘wrong place at the wrong time’ scenario if someone had malcontent on their mind!
Where we are through Saturday π…
And a funny sign over a ladies’ ‘looππ!

View of Kampala from our balcony…

And Dr. Moses smiling at the thought of being a Montanan for a dayππππ!

So proud for you you have always been special
