Uganda πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬

The great re-pack has begun, although with vastly different items. First to go in…my diagnostic equipment. Pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, tympanic thermometer, FDR manual, blue ball point pens, sharpies, gloves, and of course, my FDR scrub top. Pretty much everything else is inconsequential, but still, I will pack ‘off duty’ clothing between now and Saturday. I am just now watching a video on where we’ll be flying into…Entebbe. It is rated one of the largest international airports in Uganda. This will be my first FDR trip traveling with a team member, and I am looking forward to it 😊. Laurie, said team member, is a seasoned traveler to Africa. She and her husband spent 2 1/2 years driving around the country from north to south in a custom built RV. I am looking forward to seeing that RV prior to our departure, as I will be spending the night with them in Spokane. But for now, it’s down to checking things off my list, praying it all fits into a carry-on + backpack, and trying to get things in order before I leave. I am looking forward to experiencing Africa!
