Nazareth

Nazareth sits high up on a hill, and it was so neat being there! We visited a ‘re-creation’ setting done by a volunteer Christian group. They do an amazing job! They’ve planted foliage the Bible talks about and that which is native in Israel, and have people dressed like Nazarite villagers of Jesus’ time. So, so enjoyable!

If you look in the upper right, that’s Nazareth tucked into the top of that hillside😊💕.

An original tower, vineyard and wine press supposedly there when Jesus was living there 😱!

This would be the wine press for foot stomping the grapes. Hopefully you can make it out, as it’s difficult to see in the photo🤔…they crushed the grapes with bare feet so the seeds wouldn’t be crushed, as that would have made the wine bitter.
