The food service restocking on a train π.

And our train taking us to Warsaw.

I am noticing more and more intricate differences with each day that passes here in Poland, and it is much the same in the other places I have visited in Europe. . It seems fresh fruit and vegetable markets, meat and cheese markets, along with plentiful bakeries, are located in every neighborhood, allowing those who live there to buy their daily food on a daily basis. Which makes sense, given the small size of the refrigerators/freezers π. But it is so enchanting to see the people out each morning with their wheeled carts, stopping to visit with the baker, the butcher and the cheese maker and the farmer, or at least the produce VENDORS ☺️. I can’t help but wonder if it is reminiscent of how life in the United States might have been, long before the westward expansion and more rural living took us away from the more social aspect of buying groceries each day. One thing I’ve learned…Europe in general has a sweet tooth the size of TEXASππ! And they do treats well πππππ!

My breakfast choice, from the bakery in the mall attached conveniently to the train station! Fresh apple strudel and coffee with milk. So delightful all around.
