The Castle Part II

I do believe I am slated for an excursion for the castles in and around Prague with my tour group, so I didn’t go inside. I was out of time anyway (castle closed at 4 pm). But I was free to walk the expansive grounds, which were simply amazing! Not only in its relative view of the castle itself, but in the view of the beautiful city below!

It is literally impossible to get a view of the entirety of the castle from so close, but it is MASSIVE 😱!  And it appeared strangely Gothic in appearance for some reason…

So I did some googling, and WOW!! 880 😱😱😱!  I had NO idea 😱!  And I was allowed to touch the walls ! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂👏👏👏👏

I may venture up there again today because it was such a lovely walk,  and the cocoa was that delicious! 😂😂

But for now, I will set out to find a post box to drop the postcards, and then to see a fort about a 40 minute walk from my hotel. I had intended to visit a ‘milk bar’, Czek style, a remnant of the Soviet occupation, but I just won’t be hungry by the time they close. They are typically only open for the noon hour. My other last stop for my solo time in Prague will be Havel’s Market, an open air market which lies in the center of Old Town 🤗.
