On a Break

My triage tasks are usually finished about 20 minutes before the physicians have seen the last of their patients. We break for lunch at that time, and the Cambodian volunteers have a separate meal of their preference, which the cooks prepare it out back

Rice is the primary staple , with some sautéed veggies on the side, and the customary and delicious chili sauce.. The pot of rice was HUGE😱🤗.

This sentry stands guard to keep the non-triaged folks under the tent. We are especially grateful for the tent today, as it has been raining fairly heavily all morning. The soil here is a rich red, and I adheres to and stains mostly everything it comes into contact with.

including the Croc wannabes I got at the Russian Market before I came up north. I will leave these with somebody before I head to Siem Reap, and hopefully get them cleaned up some before hand.
