And More

There is no mundane in the heart of Paris. I should just keep the camera rolling, but then I’d miss out on what I am trying to share. It’s all just so historic and beautiful. It’s hard not to imagine the German forces marching through these streets, and the ensuing despair of the French people at the thought of so much loss, but fortunately they were liberated, and much of the city was left unscathed. I’ve wondered about so many things during this stay, and wished I had paid better attention during my world history classes, but I should have time to do some homework on our 2.5 hour Eurostar train ride to Great Britain πŸ’•.

We started our day on Rue de Mouffetard, the oldest street in Paris. All cobblestone, of course ☺️.
