No telling what you’re going to see on a Wednesday afternoon in Alaska π€.
An albino moose π! I like the silver color better…
This guy just happened to land his heelcopter right in front of us while we were having lunch! ππ He must have been hungry!
Our resident glacier…the very one we were hiking on yesterday. When I saw the sweet Mennonite group this morning, I asked how their legs were feeling. A loud chorus of laughter rose, and everybody said ‘Sore!’
There are so many beautiful flowers here! Many are wild flowers, but this was in a planter… I’m not sure what it is, But I’ve never seen anything like it.π€
Camping for weenies πππ.
Tomorrow will be my official last day at Victory Bible Camp. I am exhausted, but it’s been so much fun. I’m going to be sad to see it come to an end! I’ll take my camera along with me and hopefully get some pictures of the people I’ve been working with. It’s quite an efficient system, preparing the meals, but I guess one must be efficient if they’re feeding 300+ people three times a day!π± For now, I will just try to stay awake long enough to make it to bedtime. I may sit outside on the patio with Diana for a time, as the sun is warm and the air is fragrant with the scent of pine trees. I will miss Alaska more than I expected to π₯Ή. We met a young lady at the lovely restaurant we visited after the kiddos and staff were served there vittles, and she said she was from Missoula, Montana. π I think the Lord is reminding me I have a homeπππ. But OH! Alaska…a forever spot in my heart π.
