All of the travel vlogs I’ve watched on Israel said most younger people (under 40) speak English, American currency is accepted everywhere, and things are very expensive in Israel. Only the latter has proven true. But Dean reminded me we are not in a tourist area, so that is to be expected. Still, everyone has accepted credit cards and I am earning miles with those, so it’s a win-win. I just promised the grandbabies I’d bring home some shekels๐๐. In time I will get some shekels.๐
Here is some more pretty in Israel…

He kicks them, and they all come back๐๐. He’s got three in the surf already!

A market street on the way back from Jaffa.๐

Beautiful Tel Aviv

Found a flea market, along with freshly made hummus and falafel, but I forgot to take a picture!

The sign is describing the picture above it.

Jaffa…many steps up into the old city.

There are similar photos to this throughout the city. I’m not sure if they are hostages, or have died in service. The hostages’ photos usually have a sign under them that says ‘bring them home’. It is evident that they have not been forgotten. ๐ข

A beautiful door in Jaffa๐.
