An hour’s drive brought us down the mountain and back to Tiberia and to our Sea of Galilee boat venture. As we boarded and set sail, one of the crew raised our American flag at the bow, just next to the Israeli flag, and played our national anthem. It was both beyond touching and unexpected.🥲
And the Sea of Galilee was beautiful!

The sweet crewman taught us to dance the Hava Nagila Hava dance, which was just plain FUN!😂😂 And I’d say we did pretty well!😂😂
He thought so too😆😂😂!
Yet another wonderful day in this enchanting holy land. Since sundown is the start of Shabbat, we’ll be on our own tomorrow, as the sites will be absent of staff. We’ll spend the day by the Sea of Galilee and on the banks of the River Jordan 💕. We are all looking forward to it!
