The crowds in the streets seem to grow more numerous as the days progress toward the weekend. I imagine the people who live here must grow weary of the constant influx of people (visitors) getting in their way. Many stop mid stride to take a photo, or to talk, or perhaps to consult Google Maps. I’ve learned to step aside before I stop lest I force somebody to have to step around me, and I find myself getting mildly annoyed at those who haven’t learned to exercise this common courtesy yet. π

And VOILLA!! A POSTA BOXπππ€£! Mission accomplished π€

Havels Market was easily found, and did not disappoint. I enjoyed looking at the variety of fruits, chocolates, liqueurs, and honey. I’ve learned another caveat to doing carry-on baggage only is not being able to buy an excess of trinkets and liquids (HELLO MEADπ€£!) that would normally have to be in checked bags π.

As I wandered back to my hotel to use the ‘loo one last time (I had a 3rd cup of coffee while I blogged in the dining room!π) before setting out for the fort, I was intrigued and charmed by the colors of Old Town! Just soothing to the eye and the spirit, really.π

It will be fun to experience Prague with a local guide now that I’ve had a semi taste of it on my own. But until tomorrow, I will continue to enjoy my aimless wandering as a solo traveler! π
